In Islamic teachings, wearing the Hijab is a mandatory obligation for Muslim women, and they cannot remove it under any circumstances. Adhering to prayer, fasting, and reciting the Quran can lead to observing the Hijab, as these practices prohibit immorality and wrongdoing. Failing to adhere to the Hijab is a significant sin that invites Allah’s wrath and indicates a lack of modesty, which is a noble quality for women. The Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam warned of the consequences of neglecting the Hijab in two narrations, emphasizing its importance. Additionally, the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam stated that women who wear perfume and pass by people, allowing them to smell it, are adulteresses. Therefore, it is crucial to offer sincere repentance before death overtakes one, as the punishment of Hellfire is unbearable and cannot be forgotten.
